Robin McLaurin Williams (July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014) was an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker. Starting as a stand-up comedian in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the mid-1970s, he is credited with leading San Francisco's comedy renaissance.  
 
Williams was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor three times and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as therapist Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting. He received two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and five Grammy Awards. On August 11, 2014, Williams died of an apparent suicide at his home in Paradise Cay, California.

5 Facts You Didn't Know About Robin Williams</h1>

1. Robin Williams improvised most of Genie for "Aladdin."</h1>

Apparently, the Academy Awards rejected
 the bid for "Aladdin" in the Best Adapted Screenplay category because 
so much of Williams role ended up being improvised. According to 
producer and director John Musker, Williams ended up improvising about 70 impressions to be used in the film as well. In a Reddit AMA, Williams explained:

 "Initially
 they came in and I was just doing the scripted lines and I asked 'Do 
you mind if I try something?' and then 18 hours of recording later, they
 had the genie. I just started playing, and they said "just go with it, 
go with it, go with it." So I improvised the character. I think that in 
the end, there were something like 40 different voices that I did for 
that role. " </blockquote>
Williams was known for improvising most of his iconic roles in some way or another.

 Robin Williams dressed in scrubs and surprised his friend Christopher 
Reeve in the hospital following his career-ending accident.

Reeve
 and Williams became good friends when they both attended The Juilliard 
School together. Williams claimed at the time that Reeve was "literally 
feeding me because I don't think I literally had money for food or my 
student loan hadn't come in yet, and he would share his food with me." 
In his book, "Still Me," Reeve wrote about Williams visiting him in the hospital:

 at an especially bleak moment, the door flew open and in hurried a 
squat fellow with a blue scrub hat and a yellow surgical gown and 
glasses, speaking in a Russian accent. He announced that he was my 
proctologist, and that he had to examine me immediately...it was Robin 
Williams...for the first time since the accident, I laughed. My old 
friend had helped me know that somehow I was going to be okay.</blockquote>
Williams later surprised Sharon Osbourne in a similar way after she was diagnosed with cancer. 
 3. During the filming of "Schindler's List," Robin Williams called Steven Spielberg to tell him jokes and lift his spirits.

Spielberg called these "comic care packages over the telephone." 
In his Reddit AMA, Williams explained:

 4. In high school, Robin Williams was voted by his classmates as the "Least Likely To Succeed."

Williams attended Redwood High School in California where, during his senior year, he was voted both "the funniest and least likely to succeed." 
Later in life, Williams would win five Grammys, two Emmys and an Academy Award.

Marzi Pestonji (Master Marzi) is an Indian dancer and choreographer. He is best known for judging Zee TV’s reality dance show Dance India Dance (DID) along with Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis . 
 
Marzi started dance as hobby from 1993 when he was a student. He joined Shiamak Davar’s training courses. Later he became Shaimak’s assistant. For last 19 years Marzi is associated with Shaimak. He is the director of operations, principal dancer and senior faculty in Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts (SDIPA). 
 
Marzi is married to Kashmira who herself is a trained dancer and associated with SDIPA. 
 
Marzi started assisting Shiamak from ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. That movie was a blockbuster dance hit. Since then Marzi has done several assignments. He has done Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom 2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and there are loads of shows like IIFA. Devdas movie’s Dola Re song was also choreographed by Shiamak and Marzi. Marzi has worked with almost all film actors and actress.

Soumitra Chatterjee, debonair actor and screen idol of the 60s and 70s, was introduced by the venerable Satyajit Ray in Apur Sansar, the final film of the Apu Trilogy. The first film of that trilogy, Pather Panchali, is counted among the best films ever made. When Ray introduced Soumitra Chatterjee to films, he was a radio announcer and had only played a small role in a Bengali stage production. A favourite of the revered director, Soumitra Chatterjee made 15 films with Satyajit Ray - their association spanning over three decades. 
 
Apparently many stories and screenplays were written by Ray keeping the dashing actor in mind. Soumitra Chatterjee featured as "Feluda" - Ray's cherished private investigator from Kolkata - in two films made from the "Feluda" series of children's books written by Ray. The first was Sonar Kella (1974) followed by Joy Baba Felunath, four years later. 
 
Other Satyajit Ray-Soumitra Chatterjee classics include Teen Kanya, Aranyer Din Ratri, Hirak Rajar Deshe, Ghare Baire (an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's novel of the same name) and Shakha Proshakha. The versatile actor aced the portrayal of diverse characters - from urban to radical revolutionary to mentally handicapped son of an aging patriarch. 
 
Apart from Ray, Chatterjee has worked with all internationally acclaimed directors of his time, including Mrinal Sen, Tapan Sinha and Tarun Majumdar. 
 
Soumitra Chatterjee accepted the prestigious Padma Bhushan in 2004 and has now been selected for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Chatterjee told news agency IANS that he was "extremely happy" at the honour. 
 
"I am extremely happy. Till this evening I had not thought of this award. But after I got the news I am extremely happy," he said
