shamim mannan is an Indian telivision actress. She currently playing the lead role of Bhoomi Patel in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apno Ki on Colors TV.

Early Life and Education:- shamim comes from Assam.She comes to a non-filmy background.she decided to leave studies (after second year of engineering in Bangalore) to pursue a career in acting.In an interview she said,"My parents were furious about me dropping out. I had lost interest in studies. Acting was always my true calling and I requested them to grant me six months to make a career, to which they agreed. Fortunately, I bagged my first role within six months. Once my parents saw me on the screen, their anger vanished. In fact, they are elated to see me play the lead for the first time."

Career:- She has done many ramp shows in college. She is atarting her acting career from Sanskaar - Dharohar Apno Ki serial on Colors TV.


Sanskaar - Dharohar Apno Ki:-The Show focuses on Gujarati family which is a joint family and who live in the town Keshavgadh. The show deals about the family culture of Gujaratis, their lifestyle about how they eat together and on their loving son Jai Kishan, who goes abroad to work in order to re-build the mill which is a memory of his late grandfather. There, he finds a girl whom he falls in love with and wants to marry her, but his family had already chosen a bride for him.
