A man, who is said to be a lawyer by profession, disrupted PM Manmohan Singh’s speech by stripping off his shirt at Vigyan Bhavan here today. Watch:
Dr. Singh was preparing to address at International Academic Conference.
The man identified as Santosh Kumar Suman , is a native of Bihar, in his sloganeering shouted “Bhrasht Pradhan Mantri Wapas Jao”(Corrupt Prime Minister go back) and also demanded rollback of diesel prices.
The security personnel immediately caught hold of Suman, who climbed onto his desk, and took him away.
According to reports, the 33-year-old resides in Shakarpur in New Delhi and is a member of Lalu Prasad Yadav 's RJD's law wing.
Suman practices in Patiala House Court.
A team of Delhi Police, SPG and Intelligence officers are currently interrogating him.
