Upasna Kamineni is a business woman associated with Apollo group. Upasna is the wife of Indian movie actor Ram Charan Teja. Ram Charan is the son actor-turned-politician and megastar of south India K. Chiranjeevi. Ram Charan and Upasna got married on 14 June 2012, Thrusday.

The 23 year old Upasna Kamineni is the grand daughter of Dr Prathap C Reddy (Founder Chairman Apollo Hospitals Group). Upasana is the eldest daughter of Mr.Anil and Shobana Kamineni.Upasna Kamineni is currently the Vice President, Apollo Chairty & Editor of B Positive, Lifetime WellnessRx International Limited, Apollo Group of Hospitals.From the age of 15, she began U Xchange — a service to recycle books and notebooks that were distributed amongst poor children. In and out of wards, she spends a large part of her day with children who are being treated at the Apollo Health City, Hyderabad.She is a graduate from London’s Regents College.

The Ram Charan-Upasna Kamineni wedding celebrations have kick started in a grand fashion.

Post the star-studded sangeet ceremony, the bride-to-be, Upasna, accompanied by her family members, performed a special rudrabhishekam at the over-400-year- old Shiva temple in the premises of the Domakonda Fort. The fort was renovated and beautified specially for the event.
